I've been designing my little heart out on the freelancer site I joined- I got burnt with one comp though...took part in one that didn't have the 'guaranteed' sign on it- the lady gave me 5 stars on my designs (Check out the Tourism- Live it Up designs) and now hasn't been heard from for over a week n half - so there's $290 I'm probably not gonna see... could have come in handy too, seeing as the screen on my galaxy just got a massive crack in it! Oh well I suppose! ...

I've been just plodding along making sure now everything I enter is guaranteed only, as much as I'm in it for the experience, I'm also in it for some cash! If you know of anyone who wants some business stationary (Business cards, letter heads, with thanks cards) let me know and we can work something out :-). I'm entering my last year of my degree in Graphic Design, so it's a very exciting time! I'm also going to be finishing it through USC...so majorly excited! Very disappointed with my current university (CSU) and if I had my time again I definitely would not be choosing CSU that's for sure!

Take another look at My Portfolio and my FlickR site, as I am constantly updating my stuff! I am going back through all my university work and slowly getting it all up to, to show what I can do :-)

Another thing I'm excited about is the fact I have been able to attach the 'Hire Me' button to the left!! So that way if people see what they like on here they can hire me on Freelancer, pretty cool huh?

Cheers x

I've updated my work on my portfolio on Flickr HERE, as I have been entering many contests on freelancer.com so check them out! I have quite enjoyed playing around making logos and design solutions for clients. I feel its giving me 'real world experience' in a way, so I'll keep at it :-)

I've joined this site called freelancer.com and I am overwhelmed at the potential to earn money by doing what I love! I have no idea how it was that I have not found it earlier...I really don't know how it is that I did not know about the site! Basically you go on there and join (for free) and then you bid on assignments or partake in contests with your designs to win money...sounds pretty cool right? It is! So far I have entered 2 comps and submitted a bid- the comps aren't finished yet but the bid didn't make it- surprise surprise it went to a very high rated person on the site- but I am determined to persevere with this! If nothing else I look at it as though I am simply building my portfolio!
